Public Servant and Other License Plates
We offer several plates for vehicles owned by public servants, or for vehicles that do not easily fit into other, broader categories. Eligibility requirements, guidelines, fees and applications vary by specialty plate type.

Special License Plate
Emergency Medical Services
You may apply for one set of Emergency Medical Services Personnel specialty plates if you are certified by the Texas Department of Health under Subchapter C, Chapter 773, Health and Safety Code. A specialty plate fee of $8 is charged in addition to the regular registration fee [pdf, 1 page, 943kb] and other applicable fees.
